Founded by Paul Raffensparger, Citadel Projects helps professionals design intentional careers — and lives — through tools, frameworks, and coaching.
Paul is a product manager and certified Scrum Master, and his work draws on years in solution and product design, project and product management, teaching, and agile leadership — mentoring, consulting, and advising people and teams as they figure out what to build next, and how to build it well.
His work started with a simple observation: most career advice is built for speed — write a sharper CV, send more applications, take the first offer. A career is not a transaction. It is the longest project most of us will ever work on, and it deserves a coach, a plan, and practice.
That thinking became Waypoint, an AI-coached career design app; Build your Citadel: Career Design, the first book in the series; and the Citadel Project Academy podcast. The work follows a set of frameworks — Learn, Build, Align, Prepare is the career design framework, one of many — applied across seven areas: career, productivity, education, finance, health, relationships, and faith.
